Our first 15 servers have arrived at Tier 2′s rack at our data center in downtown Houston. This data center is the most secure location in Houston, if not the entire Gulf Coast, having never gone down since it first opened over twenty years ago, putting Tier 2′s customers quite literally on the second tier of the Internet’s backbone. Hence “Tier 2″. These servers will enable Tier 2 to provide video-capable dedicated and shared servers to businesses that require hi-bandwidth streaming video and audio.
